raimundos

uncovered

A backstage documentary capturing the 25th anniversary of one of Brazilian rock's most singular debut albums.

the project

Raimundos didn't sound like anyone else. The Brasília band spent the 1990s fusing hardcore punk with forró — two musical worlds that had no business being together — and made it feel inevitable. Their debut album became a landmark of Brazilian rock, and twenty-five years later, they brought it back to the stage for a full commemorative show, with one addition: Fred, the original drummer, returning as a special guest.

Produced for the Custom Shop Brasil channel, Uncovered goes behind the scenes — into rehearsals, gear setups, conversations between band members, and the logistics that hold a production of that scale together. Every member of the current lineup was interviewed, alongside Fred (the original drummer) and the road crew whose work is almost never seen.

More than a concert film, Uncovered is a document of what it actually takes to bring a band's most important night back to life — told from the inside.
