A guitar tech is the person who makes sure nothing goes wrong.

Before the first note, they've tuned every instrument, checked every cable, dialed every amplifier. During the show, they're on the side of the stage, invisible to the audience, watching for anything that might break. After the last song, they're the last ones to leave.

Dante Lucca has been doing this at the highest level for years. As the founder of D.Lucca Luthieria, he cares for the instruments of some of Brazil's most respected guitarists — including Andreas Kisser of Sepultura, one of the most internationally recognized metal bands to emerge from Latin America. When Dante isn't in his workshop, he's on the road as guitar tech for bands including Sepultura, Krisiun, Shaman, and Project46.

Luthieria On The Road follows Dante through a single complete day with Sepultura — from the morning equipment pickup at the band's meeting point, through soundcheck, backstage, the show itself, and the full teardown afterward. It was the band's first show of 2019, and it was filmed in its entirety.

The film was produced for the Custom Shop Brasil channel and is built around a simple question: what does it look like when craft, precision, and preparation meet a stage that holds thousands of people?
