cabana vancouver

cabana party pass

Vancouver's premier nightclub. An underperforming VIP product. Untapped digital potential. Nine months.

the challenge

Selling a VIP queue-jump ticket sounds like a simple e-commerce transaction. It wasn't. It was an exercise in perceived value, social proof, urgency, and targeted marketing—all running simultaneously, all dependent on each other, and none of them performing at their peak when the work began.

The assumption going in was reasonable: people simply needed an easy way to buy the pass online. That assumption was wrong. The offline energy of the venue wasn't translating into online conversions. The club was moving an average of just 30 passes a week. People didn't just need a link; they needed a reason.

The digital campaigns couldn't scale until the online presence reflected the physical reality. The FOMO had to be built from scratch.

the approach

Over nine months, we engineered a complete digital takeover.

We started by optimizing Meta Ads, but polished graphics weren't enough to sell the experience. We needed raw, undeniable social proof. We overhauled Cabana's organic social media approach, putting the cameras directly in the hands of the promoters. They began posting real-time, visceral videos during open nights—highlighting the massive, freezing lines outside that the Party Pass bypasses, and the packed, electric dance floor inside.

Once the organic foundation of desire and urgency was established, we scaled. We introduced Google Ads to capture high-intent search traffic and launched aggressive email blasts to reach broader audiences.

Finally, we tackled retention. We built an exclusive WhatsApp VIP group for previous Party Pass clients, feeding them direct, insider offers to turn one-time attendees into weekly regulars.

the result

The math shifted dramatically. We took Party Pass sales from a sluggish 30 per week to consistently breaking over 200 per week.

Cabana isn't just full anymore. It is practically sold out, night after night. By bridging the gap between raw, organic social proof and aggressive performance marketing, we didn't just scale a ticketing funnel—we established Cabana as the #1 nightclub in Vancouver.
